Reviews and Predictions

As you know, I recently participated in Darren Rowse’s “Reviews and Predictions” group writing project. Not only did this give me a good excuse to come up with a tongue-in-cheek look ahead to 2007, it also got me reading some cool blogs that I never would have found on my own.
You can see the entire list over at Problogger, but here are a few that caught my eye (grouped into “Sports” and “Other” because that’s kind of how I view the world, LOL):
Sports
- Top 10 Sports Predictions for 2007 (Suicide Fan). Here’s hoping Aaron is wrong about #7, and the Chargers win the Super Bowl.
- What I expect from the 2007 Chicago Cubs Starting Pitchers (View from the Bleachers)
- The three biggest U.S. soccer stories of 2006 (ThroughBall)
Other
- Top Ten Board Game News 2006 (Yehuda). I found this blog from one of Darren’s previous group writing projects and have been reading it since. Hey, games are almost like sports.
- Why People Hate Lawyers – Just Read Their Blogs! (Legal Andrew). I’m always a sucker for the tongue-in-cheek post. This is a good one.
- Creating a Logo (Software Project Management). A nice look at the evolution of a company logo, from prototypes to finished product.
- Choosing not to inherit your purpose ( Peak Performance – from the coach’s desk). What do you want do in life? Okay, do it.
- One Hundred Footsteps (Mixed Media Art by Beth Robinson). Ambitious project by artist Beth Robinson to create 100 paintings. She expects it to take at least seven years. And Cubs fans think they’ve got it rough.
- You Can Be a Good Example or a Horrible Warning – How NOT to be a Successful Blogger (engtech). For the bloggers in the house.
- Preaching, Unicycle, Broken Ankle, and Swearing (worshippl.us). I can’t try to describe this one; you just have to read it.
Happy Friday, folks, and have a safe and joyous holiday season!

I’m glad you liked the post. Thanks a ton for the link!
I like the work you’re doing here. But then again, you’re with b5, so you must be good.
