This is the worst time of the year. I try to care about football, but all I can think when I watch games is that the ball is way too big and what’s up with all the body armor? With that in mind, here are some ways to pass the time while we’re waiting for baseball to return:

Go to the movies. Might I recommend Juno. Or, if it has to be about baseball (believe me, I understand), go nuts.

I understand there was a football game last night. Heard about it from my imaginary friend. Conversation went a little like this:
IF: How ’bout Tom Brady?
Me: How ’bout him?
IF: Patriots could become the first team ever to finish with a 16-0 record; wouldn’t that be something?
Me: Sure.
IF: You want to see ‘em do it?
Me: Will it have any impact on when the baseball season starts?
IF: No.
Me: Then what the hell do I care?
IF: Uh…
Me: Leave me alone; you’re, like, the lamest imaginary friend ever.
