Corey Hart, the right fielder for the Milwaukee Brewers, was recently complaining of pains in his stomach and side. On Monday, the Brewers found out there was good reason for complaints. After an appendectomy, Hart was placed on the DL.
Hart started telling team doctors that something was wrong after he went 0-for-3 on Saturday against the San Diego Padres. Ken Macha, the manager of the Brewers, was thankful for how the surgery went down.

Corey Hart was participating in a postgame press conference when his Milwaukee Brewers teammates thought it’d be a good idea to surprise Hart with a beer bath. One problem — Hart was carrying his small daughter in his arms. Watch the video below. Hopefully the daughter came out okay!
Why were his teammates happy? Hart was elected to the 2008 National League All-Star roster by an online vote. Evan Longoria of the Tampa Bay Rays was voted to join the 2008 American League roster.
