Not long ago, Mark Prior was regarded as one of the best up-and-coming pitchers in baseball. He had Hall of Fame stuff and the fearlessness to make him one of the best pitchers of his generation.
However, injuries have limited Prior in recent years and now once again Prior is going to have a date with a knife. Prior, who is currently a member of the San Diego Padres, is schedule to have shoulder surgery to fix the anterior capsule. It’s unknown at this point how long Prior will be out.
