Video: Red Sox Brawl with Tigers

On Monday, tempers started to erupt in the ballgame between the Boston Red Sox and the Detroit Tigers. On Tuesday, there was a full-blown brawl. You can see a video of the brawl between the Red Sox and Tigers at the end of the entry.
To lead off the second inning, Rick Porcello hit Kevin Youkilis. Youkilis reacted by dropping his bat and running toward Porcello. On his way to the mound, Youkilis threw his helmet. A couple seconds later, both players were on the ground.

Rays Try To Advance To 2008 World Series

The Tampa Bay Rays had it in their grasps. Leading the series against the Boston Red Sox 3-1, the Rays had a 7-0 late in Game 5. However, with multiple heroic hits by the never say die Red Sox, Boston was able to pull off one of the greatest comebacks in postseason history by winning the game 8-7.

Jason Bay’s Video – Double Against Royals

This is one of the oddest videos you will ever see from a baseball game. Against the Kansas City Royals, Jason Bay of the Boston Red Sox hit a ball deep into the outfield. Mitch Maier tried to make a leaping catch in the outfield. Instead of coming down with the ball, the ball rolled along the top of the fence. Luckily for the Royals, Ross Gload came along and knocked the ball off the top of the wall before it cleared for a home run.
