Red Sox Fan Gets Tackled at Fenway Park – Video

Check out this video of a man who gets tackled by Fenway Park security for running out onto the field. The man, who we assume is a Red Sox fan, never saw the hit coming. Twenty bucks says the security guy who hit him has played football at some level.
Red Sox fans are famous (or infamous, depending on who you ask) for being dedicated to their team. I guess this fan just wanted a closer look at this action.

Fourteen games are on tap for Opening Day 2008. Sure, the Red Sox and A’s played some games in Japan, but nobody on this side of the pond watched, and the Nationals opened their new ballpark in the made-for-ESPN Sunday night game, but today is when the season really begins.

Thoughts from Opening Day in Japan

No, I didn’t get up at 3 a.m. to watch Opening Day in Japan. Maybe if the Padres had been playing, but the Red Sox? Meh.
(As an aside, is anyone else sick of the word “meh” to show indifference? I’ve used it here to sound hipper than I actually am, but I kinda hate it. I’m ready for the fad to pass.)
