Angels Stay Alive Against Yankees

Although the Los Angeles Angels have looked dead in the water at some points in the ALCS against the New York Yankees, they keep fighting. On Thursday, the Angels rallied to beat the Yankees by a final count of 7-6.
In a ballgame full of bursts, the Angels struck first by scoring four times in the bottom of the first inning. The Yankees then put six runs on the board in the top of the seventh inning, however the Angels responded by scoring three runs in the bottom of the seventh.

Angels’ Vladimir Guerrero Injury Update

Vladimir Guerrero, the slugging outfielder for the Los Angeles Angels, is leaving the team’s current road trip to return to California to have further examinations on his right pectoral muscle. The native of the Dominican Republic has been slowed by this chest injury since spring training.
A recent MRI indicated that Guerrero is suffering from a strain. The team is sending him home so that the team doctors can make sure there is no more further damage.
