Carl Pavano, the oft-injured pitcher for the New York Yankees, is returning to the mound. Since the 2005 baseball season, Pavano has only pitched two games for the Yankees. His start on Sunday will be his first game of the 2008 season.
Pavano has suffered a myriad of injuries throughout his time on the Yankees. Those injuries include injuries to his back, shoulder, ribs, elbow and buttocks. If you area fan of the New York Yankees, you got to be hoping that the injury bug won’t keep haunting the team all season. In recent days, three prime time players have gotten hurt.
Alex Rodriguez has a strained quadriceps and has now landed on the 15-day disabled list. The Yankees are being cautious with Rodriguez’s injury, however there’s a chance he could miss up to a month.
