Ted Lilly Video – Yadier Molina Injury

When you think of Ted Lilly of the Chicago Cubs, you probably don’t think of the friendly pitcher. While that may be true most of the time, check out this video that shows that Lilly may be an NFL player in hiding.

On a ball hit to the shortstop, Lilly tried to score from third base. The ball got to catcher Yadier Molina of the St. Louis Cardinals in plenty of time. Instead of slowing up and getting tagged out, Lilly instead ran full force into Molina. Not only did he knock Molina down, Molina was soon forced to leave the game due to injury.

Watch this Ted Lilly video where he blasts Yadier Molina and I promise you won’t think of Lilly the next time you see him pitch for the Cubs:

Lilly is a hard player. I will never forget his fight with John Gibbions when he was on the Jays. Gibby deserved it!

    Lets go Blue Jays!

It sucks when anybody gets injured; however it certainly goes to show that the Cubs are playing hard and taking nothing for granted
