Alex Rodriguez and Madonna Breakup?
August 25, 2008 by Stephen Kersey
Alex Rodriguez’s relationship with Madonna must not be going to well considering the news that Madonna renewed her vows with her husband Guy Ritchie. According to previous reports, Alex Rodriguez and Madonna were dating and there might have even been an A-Rod and Madonna sex tape.
The renewal of vows between Madonna and Ritchie supposedly took place over the weekend in a Kabbalah ceremony in London. Madonna, who recently turned 50, is about to embark on a world tour. Ritchie, who is about to turn 40, is off to plan his birthday part. Rodriguez, who is 9.5 games behind the Tampa Bay Rays in the AL West, is trying to find a way to lead the New York Yankees to the playoffs with a wife ready to divorce him and an alleged girlfriend on the side who appears to no longer be a girlfriend.

Will Alex Rodriguez look past his relationship troubles long enough to lead the Yankees?

Who doesn’t love baseball? Well, apparently you can add Japanese idol Mihiro Taniguchi to those who appreciate the game. Mihiro is famous in Japan and she’s trying to make baseball even more popular in Japan.
Watching the video, Mihiro Taniguchi actually has a pretty good swing. While she might have to practice some more to reach the level of Ichiro, she looks like she is off to a good start.
Here is the Mihiro Taniguchi Baseball Video:
Cubs Fan Dumps Water on Reporter - Video

While Erin Andrews has been in the news a lot recently, the reporter in this video isn’t Erin Andrews. However, watching how Cubs fans treat female reporters, Erin Andrews should probably keep her distance from Wrigley Field.
In this video, you see a Cubs fan pick up a Gatorade tub and dump it on the head of a reporter. While it looks a little bit like a setup, reports indicate that this is indeed legit. Unless the reporter won some sort of reporting championship we aren’t aware of, the dumping of Gatorade was probably inappropriate.

Favorite Baseball Teams in 2008
August 4, 2008 by Stephen Kersey
Filed under Odds and Ends, Off-Topic

I’m an admitted bandwagon baseball fan. I love the sport of baseball but I don’t love any specific team. The last team I loved was the Montreal Expos — and we all saw what happened to the Expos. However, each year I latch on to a few teams and watch those teams a little bit more. Who are my favorite baseball teams in 2008?
Los Angeles Dodgers
The combination of Joe Torre and Manny Ramirez trying to climb the mountain all the way to the World Series is a good story. Those two long-time rivals are now fighting for the same cause on the other side of the country.
Chicago Cubs
The lovable losers are actually winners this year. This is one of the best Chicago Cubs teams in a long time. If the Cubs are ever going to end their World Series drought, wouldn’t this be the perfect year?

Alex Rodriguez and Madonna and Kabbalah
July 4, 2008 by Stephen Kersey
According to New York Daily News, Cynthia Rodriguez is blaming Madonna and her use of Kabbalah as the reason why her marriage to Alex Rodriguez is on the rocks. Alex and Cynthia Rodriguez are reportedly broken up at the moment and some rumors have linked A-Rod and Madonna.
Cynthia Rodriguez is saying that Madonna’s use of Kabbalah has resulted in some kind of mystique Jewish mind-control on Alex Rodriguez. Due to that, she says, A-Rod has turned cold and is now under the control of Madonna.
Seeing how the Yankees have lost five of their last six games, Madonna might try to use Kabbalah to help out New York’s team. If it works well enough to get A-Rod to leave his wife, it should help the Yankees get a few wins.
Alex Rodriguez and Madonna - Wife Divorce?
July 3, 2008 by Stephen Kersey
According to various reports, Alex Rodriguez and his wife Cynthia Rodriguez have split. The reason? Some speculate that Alex Rodriguez being linked to Madonna could be why.
The last we heard about the Yankees superstar third baseman and his wife, they seemed happy. The two were celebrating the birth of their second child. Cynthia even gave an account of how Alex Rodriguez choked in the delivery room.
Three months later, the couple has seperated. Some reports have even linked Cynthia with Lenny Kravitz. Cynthia and Kravitz supposedly were seen in Paris — however, Kravitz maintains it was the two are just friends.
It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out. Will A-Rod trade in the wife for Madonna? Will Cynthia leave Alex for Lenny? I guess we’ll find out.
The good news for Yankees fans is that Rodriguez is swinging the bat well. After a relatively slow start, Rodriguez is hitting .316 with 17 homers and 47 RBI. In the month of June, Rodriguez had nine homers and hit .366.

Will Alex Rodriguez stay with his wife Cynthia or are the Madonna rumors real?
