Webb Wins NL Cy Young Award

Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Brandon Webb has won the National League Cy Young Award. I go into greater detail over at Ducksnorts, but here I’ll say congrats to Webb for winning the award and to the writers for picking the right guy.
My faith in the ability of the powers-that-be to get these post-season awards right disappeared long ago, so it’s refreshing to see them nail one that isn’t necessarily obvious (as, say, Johan Santana should be in the American League). Congratulations again to Webb on a fine season.
