Who Am I? (Part Deux)

I learned two things from our first attempt: First, people seemed to like it, and second, I made the questions too easy. Let’s see if I can do a better job of stumping y’all today:
- I was born in a city whose name means “High View.”
- I thoroughly dominated the Carolina League at age 22.
- I once won a Cy Young Award, although I wasn’t the best choice that year.
- My teammates have included Cecil Fielder, Andres Galarraga, Dwight Gooden, Orel Hershiser, Mark Langston, Kevin Mitchell, and Raul Mondesi.
- I’ve won more games than Bruce Hurst but fewer than Brad Radke.
Who am I?

Bartolo Colon!
Bartolo Colon. The list of Hispanic (since the town is in a different language) Cy Young winners active in the mid-90s is a pretty short one.
Crud, and here I was thinking that throwing names like Fielder and Mitchell out there would confuse folks. I’m not giving y’all enough credit. Nicely done!
I will stump you yet…
Dammit. Bartolo! I know I’m late, sorry. I just saw this this morning.
Geoff, you really gave it away with the more wins than Hurst and less wins than Radke. That made it way too easy.
Thanks, Holland, for the feedback. It’s helpful to know where my missteps are so I can make future questions more challenging. A wider spread would have been better.
I’ve got some fun ideas for the next one…
