Yankees Re-Sign Cairo

The New York Yankees have re-signed infielder Miguel Cairo to a 1-year contract worth $750,000. Cairo is a mediocre second baseman who is very challenged at other positions. He doesn’t hit, has no power, and doesn’t get on base. In some cities, he is known as Geoff Blum.
Haha, or Neifi Perez.
Ouch! Except Blum is a switch-hitter. Not a very good one but still….
