Atlantica Online Philippines? Bring it!

A few weeks ago, good friend and MMOtaku regular Robert Sanchez gave me the heads up about NDOORS Interactive’s recruitment of a game master in the Philippines. I checked out the job posting and, sure enough, it was the real deal. It got me thinking: Was NDOORS planning to launch Atlantica Online in the little tropical paradise that serves as home to thousands of online games-hungry players?
Oh, don’t bother looking for the advertisement; it’s long gone. NDOORS has probably found someone capable of running the show. The question, however, remains: A game master for what game? I fervently hope it’s Atlantica Online.
It’s not just wishful thinking, I assure you. Talk of online game publishers wanting to bring the hit strategic massively multiplayer online role-playing game to the Philippines has been circulating since last year. Has NDOORs finally found a local operator worthy of breathing life to Atlantica Online in another Asian country?
At present, Atlantica Online is operating out of three countries—the United States, South Korea and China. Only the North American server is accessible anywhere in the world.
The only thing putting a damper on my optimism that NDOORS is indeed launching Atlantica Online in the Philippines is the fact that another NDOORS-published online game, Wonderking Online, is about to go live. There is, however, no indication that NDOORS has a hand in Wonderking Online Philippines. Come to think of it, the game’s official website doesn’t even acknowledge any local online games publisher.
Arrgh! The suspense is killing me!

AO Philippines? Damn NDOORS really has a very vague business sense.. considering monkeys on PH loves to play these “new” games… but on the other hand it will definitely suck.
Fuck this. PH is not qualified to have a branch of this Epic game. The only good thing this PH AO will do is hopefully those PH players in World server will transfer to PH server leaving me the sensation of NOT hearing them spamming the peer chat because they’re too stupid to learn some decent english.
