And another Korean-made massively multiplayer online game bites the dust in China.
According to China-based online games portal 17173, NeoSteam China operator T2 Entertainment will shut down the game on December 28 due to undisclosed reasons.
This bit of news is surprising because T2 Entertainment upgraded (read: patched) NeoSteam a little over a month ago. Here’s a brief review on a fan blog:
After two excruciating months, T2 Entertainment finally released its new breakthrough expansion, Deep Sea City. Telecom Area 26 and China Netcom Area 7 will be opened simultaneously to accommodate new players who may want to dabble into the new world and find their places in it. The Deep Sea City is not a bravado judging from the huge attention it gained from gamers. With new features ranging from impressive sea views to heart-quaking adventures, NeoSteam is sure to turn over a new leaf for all MMOG buffs.
I’ve also found a video showing how robust the NeoSteam community is in China:
So what’s the real score, T2?
