Don’t be surprised, it was bound to happen. Requiem: Bloodymare, the mature-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game from online games powerhouse Gravity, is indeed no more. In its place, however, is Requiem: Memento Mori, a new chapter in the game’s book.
I haven’t played Requiem in ages, and this bit of information is welcome news. I might—just MIGHT—give Requiem another go, especially now that it has new content, including a significant revamp in the skills of every class and an expanded player-versus-player system.

Yes, you read that right. For those not keeping tabs on Requiem: Bloodymare and its website, a new patch, dubbed Update 5.0, will take effect tomorrow, March 5, 2009. Don’t look at me; I’m just as surprised as you.
I confess, I’ve been remiss in my duty as a player of Requiem: Bloodymare. Not that it’s entirely my fault. I blame it, partially, on the last patch brouhaha, the one that almost had me uninstalling the game from the computer.

Requiem Bloodymare: An anticlimactic ending to Toren’s Request

Yes, that word, anticlimactic, just about sums up how I felt after finishing the low-level quest, Toren’s Request, in the hit Gravity online game Requiem: Bloodymare.
No, it’s not Gravity’s fault; the fault is actually mine. I level so slow that it takes me ages to finish a quest, and by the time I get around to finish a quest, my character’s already a few levels higher than the recommended level.
