IP E-Games, a publisher of online games in the Philippines, has finally broken its silence on what they hope will be the next big massively multiplayer online role-playing game hit. The alpha site of Runes of Magic Philippines is up and running but lacks depth. At present, it only contains a link to a registration page and a video of the game.

The cat is out of the bag. I’ve been hearing about the impending closure in the Philippines of another massively multiplayer online role-playing game, and even had an inkling of what game it might be, for quite some time. I have, however, opted to shut out any rumor until such time that the game’s operator issues a statement.
