Sigh. It’s difficult to sit and wait for the implementation of a new patch for an online game. At the moment, I am waiting with mixed anxiety and dread for Atlantica Online to come back online and check what the latest update has in store for us. Anxiety because there are some features that I’d like to try out and dread because there are other features that I’d rather do without.

Atlantica Patch Notes for August 18, 2009

NDOORS Interactive has once again introduced a new update to its hit strategic turn-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game Atlantica Online. Ah, but this is no ordinary update. It’s the biggest one I’ve encountered in my three odd months of romping in the virtual world.
What is perhaps the most noticeable change in the world of Atlantica Online is the addition of the Hwarang, a grade C mercenary whose skills are pretty much class specific. Let’s take a closer look at his skills:

Just like what I did on January 21, 2009 for Atlantica Online, I’m posting here on MMOtaku the patch notes (well, at least an excerpt) for Version 3.0 of Granado Espada in Southeast Asia:
The Ancient Shelter has been introduced to the game. This is a non-PK version of the Ancient Territory. There are two Ancient Shelter dungeons—Shelter of the Ancient Skeleton in Ustiur and Ancient Underground Shelter in the Bahamas.
Occulta Fortress has been added to the game. This dungeon comprises of a free dungeon and a mission-based boss raid.
Hrin’s Treasure Mission has been added to the Treasure Hunter minigame.
