Yes, there are a lot of new stuff in Atlus Online’s Neo Steam: The Shattered Continent, including a new dungeon for player characters above Level 104, and a bigger and badder version of the Colosseum that will test the mettle of veterans.
If the mobs at Northern Underworld aren’t cutting it for you anymore, then it may be time to head down to the Southern Underworld, reportedly the home of some of the toughest foes in the world of Neo Steam. If you’re curious as to what you may encounter in the new dungeon but don’t want to get your feet …read more

Actually, only a few, to date, have been removed from the roster of items that Atlantica Online players can purchase from the cash shop. The latest casualty is the Tesla’s Black Box, the box containing the Mercury Rider mount that has been discontinued yesterday, November 16th.
rior to the removal of Tesla’s Black Box from the Atlantica Online item mall, NDOORS Interactive, publisher of the game, discontinued two other boxes, the Relic of Huike and Laila’s Wonder Box. The Relic of Huike contained the Jiangshi Outfit and Cap, while Laila’s Wonder Box gave players the Cute Bunny Hat and Costume.

It is the time for closed betas, indeed, and I’m missing out on all the action. This time around, I won’t make it in the third—not to mention, final—closed beta test for Karos Online. a new massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by GALAXYGATE Co. Ltd. of Korea and published by NHN Corporation.
Too bad. I really want to try Karos Online, despite some negative reviews I’ve read about it. Complaints range from the game being a massive grindfest, where you as player need to grind your character for the experience points to level up, and being a clone of more …read more

Here’s something I’ve been wanting to write about since it entered my thoughts almost a week ago. What if you can access your favorite massively multiplayer online role-playing game on your mobile phone? Yes, it’s nothing new. But no one has really put much thought into it until now.
Fallen Earth LLC and Icarus Studios Inc., developers of the self-titled MMO, Fallen Earth, has recently announced the development of a cross-platform iPhone application that allows players to connect into the live game server and interact with the game remotely.
“Fallen Earth fans will have the ability to interact with the game when …read more

I’m sure you’re probably tired of people wishing you a Happy Halloween, but I just have to say it since I’m really not used to it coming from a country that doesn’t celebrate it. Oh, we also mark Halloween, especially the thousands of massively multiplayer online game junkies, since this holiday is an integral part of MMOs all over the world.
For one, it’s one of the best holidays to launch events. I just wish that online game developers and publishers would come up with better gimmicks than simple bash-this-monster-and-get-this-item or open-this-box-and-get-a-random-item-that-is-totally-useless events. I mean, come on, guys! Fire up those …read more

It has been almost a year since the worldwide launch of World of Warcraft’s expansion Wrath of the Lich King, but the China hub, hosted by NetEase, has yet to implement it. No surprise there, true, but if the company wishes not to end up the way executives of The9, the game’s previous license holder, did, it is highly recommended they just agree with whatever the Chinese governments wants to implement in the game so it can be patched … asap!
An official of China’s Ministry of Culture told online games portal 17173 recently that they were still reviewing NetEase’s application …read more

With Halloween just around the corner, one would expect to find all sorts of events in your favorite massively multiplayer online games. Runes of Magic is no exception. It has, like all other MMOs, succumbed to the pressure of launching its own set of events for one of the most celebrated holidays in the world.
Before the stroke of midnight today, October 31st, the Runes of Magic Pumpkin Festival will be launched. Gee, I didn’t know pumpkins were a staple in Taborea. Going back to the topic, well, Taborea and all its denizens will bear witness to the birth of, get …read more
