hear ya, loud and clear. For instance, the New Jersey Nets will probably make the playoffs. (or Toronto or Atlanta) with possible losing records.

I'm not saying the Pistons and the Celtics can't get it done. I just hate seeing teams with bad records make the post season just because they are in a weaker conference while teams with fairly good records like the Nuggets (at least they're better than a lot of the East teams) not make it because they're in a tough conference.

Don't look now, but the Nuggetts may overtake Dallas for the playoffs.
Power in the East and West always changes. Certainly Detroit and Boston are just as good as any team they will face in the finals?

The Denver Nuggets might make history by possibly being the only team over 0.500 to not make the playoffs. Shows you how strong the Western Conference is this year even if the Boston Celtics are one of the favorites to win the championship this year.

It's also for this same reason why I think East Finalist vs. West Finalist is absolute sh*t for the playoffs. Why not just take the top 16 teams in the league at the end of the regular season and seed them accordingly. After all we want to see the best teams in the post season.

It pains me to see some east teams with crap records be in line for the post season while teams in the west with good records might not make it.
