you are right and they won’t compete with those teams. Joe is setting the table for the future with young talent. Some will survive and some will be trade bait.

Still, is Gordons shot consistent enough to get them to the big show? With big moves made by Orlando,Boston,and Cleveland Dumars needs to do a little more than Gordon to compete. Especially after getting rid of Wallace.

But what Gordon can do is get his normal shot off in the playoffs. Few nba players can do this.

Detroit needs more than a three point shooter,but Ben Gordon isn’t it. Just because he played great agains the Celtics in an incredible playoff series doesn’t make him consistent enough.
