It was Steve Francis’ first return to the TD Waterhous Arena in Orlando ever since geting traded to the New York Knicks earlier this season, but the Magic didn’t make it a happy one. Yes, the Magic murdered the visiting Knicks in their game March 22 with a score of 111 – 87. You can thank Dwight the Super Sub! yes you heard right, a sub!
Dwight Howard led the team in scoring with 23 points while grabbing 7 rebounds off the bench in that game against the Knicks, earning him the title of Subway Sub of the Game. Coach Brian Hill started forward Darko Milicic instead of usual starter Dwight Howard when Howard came late for the shoot around. This is was the first time in his career that Howard came off the bench.
