Everyday I see news of a new NBA player getting injured and many to be sidelined for weeks. We all know about the major ones like Grizzlies’ star Pau Gasol and Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut. Some rookies like Patrick O’Bryant, LaMarcus Aldridge and Josh Boone are injured too. Now even more people have been getting the injury bug lately, some pretty serious and some not so, Such are the risks of playing preseason games. *sigh*

At this rate I’m not surprised if more players get injured in the next few days. I’m sad for these guys, especially those guys who will and could miss the season opener. What a way to open the season.
