Iverson upsets everyone, somehow

NBA Obsessed takes you into the hit and run game of NBA Basketball.
With fans upset that Allen Iverson made the All Star team, it comes as no surprise that AI trade rumors have surfaced, too.
Perhaps his best use would be as trade bait. The Oregonian offered up this nugget today: “Detroit president Joe Dumars adamantly denied reports that he’s shopping Tayshaun Prince, but he may be looking to trade Allen Iverson.”
The trade deadline is less than a month away, Feb 19. You have to think if Dumars is serious about the team contending this season, he will make a move.
Because it certainly seems obvious that this team is not a championship contender.
Elsewhere in NBA reading, the Washington Post declares the Billups-Iverson deal was the “most impactful” of the first half. Hard to argue with that.
As always, any NBA Basketball related comments are welcome.

Iverson is very hard to play with. He dominates the ball so much that he takes away from his teammates. The problem with the Billups trade is that, Billups can pick and choose when to score (look at the Nuggets).
Iverson is best right now as the sixth man with impact power with the second unit. He can dominate the ball then and also provide offense. But his ego is too big for him to come off the bench.
But as far as the All-Star Game go, he is not an all-star this season, but if he puts fans in the seats, how can we argue? The game is for the fans, and they wanted to see Iverson, so be it!
