The NBA has spread basketball fever throughout the world. For a long time that meant fans all over the world and leagues cropping up everywhere. Now it means money and lots of it.
Earl Boykins took some of that money and signed with Virtus Bologna. Amazing, from right down the road at Eastern Michigan to the NBA to Italy.
Now Earl is only 5′ 5″ tall and won’t dominate in the NBA ever, but the Italian league did not care. They made Earl the highest paid player in the league.
Ok, you got money, but Earl Boykins as your highest paid player?
Good for Earl with 3.5 million reasons to play overseas
