Sacramento Bees Cheerleaders in trouble

NBA Obsessed takes you into the hit and run game of NBA Basketball.
Pictures taken between 2005 and 2007 are circulating around the internet and could cost the Sacramento Bees their jobs. Since this is a family blog, the above photo is not the one that has them in hot water.
In one photo, four women are seen bending over – their backsides showing and leaving little to the imagination. Another shows two women posing suggestively as if about to kiss. At the least, the incident poses the question: What were they thinking? source
The pictures were spread out over the internet in a 14 picture set by withleather.com
The images, which have been posted on the sports blog WithLeather.com under a blog entry titled “Sacramento Kings Dancers Are Awesome,” show the girls drinking and posing in various states of undress. source

Magic Number is 10

NBA Obsessed takes you into the hit and run game of NBA Basketball.
The Orlando Magic became the first team in the NBA to reach 10 wins this season with a 95-88 victory over the New Orleans Hornets on Monday night. Dwight Howard led the Magic with 24 points and 15 rebounds in the win.
The Hornets were short-handed heading into the contest with Chris Paul sidelined with a sprained right ankle. But things got worse in the second quarter when Tyson Chandler went down with a knee injury. After the game Chandler was on crutches, but X-rays were reportedly negative. He was diagnosed with a hyperextended right knee and is listed as day to day.
In not-so NBA related news, Phoenix Suns dancer Jenni Croft was rejected on the season finale of the ABC show “The Bachelor” on Monday night. In a surprising turn of events, bachelor Brad Womack rejected both of the finalists, choosing no one!
“I’m falling in love with you and I want to share my life with you,” Jenni told Brad during the final show. But alas, it was not to be.
Croft, a former Dallas Cowboys and Miami Heat cheerleader, was devastated and confused when she wasn’t selected.

Sneak Preview Of “The Kobe Video”
June 21, 2007 by Angelo Fernandez
So one of the big thngs now is news of “The Kobe Video”. It’s an amateur were he was taped saying profanity laced statements against center Andrew Bynum and GM Mitch Kupchak because the Lakers missed out on an opportunity to acquire Jason Kidd in a trade that involved Bynum during the February trade deadline.
The video below is a preview of the said video. According to this article by Eric Pinicus of Hoopsworld.com, Kobe uttered this statemnt, whih is the whole context of the words in the short ideo below:
“Ship his [rear end] out. We’re talking Jason Kidd,” said Bryant. “They didn’t want to do that. That’s why we’re in this [messed up] position.”
This video has caused some controversy especially since Kobe has recently demanded a trade away from the Lakers even if he has at least two years left before he could opt out of his contract.
Golden State Warriors - Old School

The Golden State Warriors have just moved ahead of the LA Clippers and that means if they play their cards right, they have a good chance to take the 8th seed in the Western Conference playoffs. The pressure is on Jason Richardson now to deliver on his promise last year that the Warriors will indeed make the playoffs. Personally I’d like to see this young, exciting and energetic team make it since they’re such a fun team to watch. As the Warriors work to land the 8th spot, I leave you with a few videos of Warriors old school - two teams that make Warriors fans proud. This should lift your spirits while cheering the current Warriors on.

Injured Garbajosa Has Sense Of Humor
March 30, 2007 by Angelo Fernandez
Spanish big man and Toronto Raptor Jorge Garbajosa showed his amazing competitive attitude and sense of humor in facing surgery to repair his lower leg that he injured recently.
Jorge Garbajosa was asked for his preference of anaesthesia. There were, the story goes, two options: the full-body knockout or a needle in the lower back to numb everything below the waist.
“Garbo says to the doctor, `Just give me the back shot because I want to see what you’re doing,’” said Maurizio Gherardini, the Raptors assistant general manager, flashing a broad smile as he told the tale. “That’s the kind of guy he is.”
This kind of attitude is why he’s somewhat a fan favorite with the city of Toronto. He’s a great competitor and a very talented player. He has much overseas experience in spite of being just a rookie in the NBA. With star Pau Gasol out due to injury for the finals, Garbajosa took over for his Spanish team to lead them to the Gold medal for the World Basketball Championships last year. Such competitiveness, work ethic and a nice sense of humor makes him an ideal favorite not just for the fans but also for the whole team. But really, the first time I read about this I just laughed out loud since it’s such an amazing thing to say given the serious situation.
Tony Parker - Rap Artist
March 28, 2007 by Angelo Fernandez

For some reason I only found out about Tony Parker’s rap album a few days ago but eve then I sort of kicked the information aside. Scrolling through ESPN today, I saw something about his rap album again and this time it made me curious what he sounds like as a rapper - and a French one at that. Well I looked him up on youtube and surely enough he has a few videos there. This is one of them. So if you’re also curious what the French point guard sounds like rapping, listen to this. Honestly the fact that it;s in French makes it sound kinda cool even if it does sound like regular rap (in fact regular rap sounds better but the French-ness of it just makes it kinda new). here is Tony Parker with Faboulous and Booba in “Top of the Game”.
