Test post from Flock

Ok, I just downloaded and installed Flock (a web browser which has integration with other Web 2.0 apps and services) for the sake of checking it out and see if I could recommend it to someone looking for a blog client similar to Windows LiveWriter. Well, I’ve never ever used Windows LiveWriter before so I can’t really compare. But I could say something about how easy it is to use or not, right?
First things first: I had to set up my blog by clicking on the feather icon on the browser. It asked me to indicate my blog’s URL and I had to enter my login details. After that I also clicked around and saw that I could make my Flickr account integrated into the browser and showing my latest photos.
Anyhow, I dragged and dropped one of my photos from Flickr into the “Drag and Drop Web Clipboard” and clicked the “Blog” option on the sidebar.
And that’s what you see right now: my picture taken during the last New Worlds Alliance convention in Makati City. I had to select the image and edit the settings so that it’s on the left instead of taking up the entire space.
Dragging and dropping a video from YouTube will lead to an embedded video:

This is quite nifty.
Maybe this will help Jyle in blogging from Linux if it works properly. ![]()
Edit: I am now editing this post in Flock. :D It works because this was posted properly. Whee! The instructions to installing Flock are very straight forward. You could check them out on the Flock FAQs.
