Today I’d like to write about a woman whose enthusiasm for GNU/Linux and Emacs just blew my mind away. And she still never fails to amaze me. Her name is Sacha Chua and I am sure some of you already know her.
Sacha might not be the person to introduce GNU/Linux to me but she has opened up my eyes to the many possibilities out there, not just distros but technology and even life in general. She has showed me that learning more about something is not difficult if you come to love it. And especially if you have faithful friends to help you out when your mind gets muddled by all the concepts and terms. She also helped me customize my planner in Emacs. She also boosted my confidence during the times I was looking for a distro to stick with.
Right now, I could read Sacha’s blog and see how much she is growing in terms of her skills and as a person. She’s really someone I look up to, even from afar, because her light shines for everyone to see. Sacha is excellent when it comes to dealing with social technologies and people. To think that I only knew about her from school and then we became friends through emails then get-togethers and blogging as well.
If Lady Ada Lovelace was around, I am sure that she will be proud of Sacha too.

Awwww… <hugz!>
