Addicted to Rubik’s Cube? Try it in 4D!

[Day 2 of the 365 Toy Project] Rubik's Cube

My co-worker brought a Rubik’s cube to the office and because I don’t really know how to use one, she was teaching me a technique that lets you work with manageable layers. I could only solve one side/face of the cube so far but I guess that I will progress some other time. In any case, she has been patient in teaching me this technique. It reminded me of the puzzle boxes that a friend brought home from Japan one time. Anyhow, if you can’t get enough of the Rubik’s cube, you could try out an app which is like this but in 4D! I doubt that I can solve this but at least those of you who love puzzles might want to give it a try.

The Magic Cube puzzle is found here. Downloads for Linux are available as RPM and targz. :D
