Thanks for the article. I’ve been looking for a simple way to download videos and this may be it. I believe DownloadHelpder only works for videos while they are being watched. Aside from that it has “adult content” options which is an issue for many of us.

hi claire! well actually instead of going to the commandline, you could use the DownloadHelper extension in Firefox which is really painless.

multimedia business shouldn’t be done on the CLI really. and btw, fedora runs fine on them netbooks.
