Get some help from Linux App Finder

It’s tough looking for apps that would run on Linux when you’ve been so used to Windows, right? And sometimes you’re looking for features that you’ve been used to. Now there’s probably an app there somewhere in a repository or somewhere in the installer disc but do you really have to install them first before you even get an idea of how they work or what they look like or what features they have? Worry no more! You could get some help with Linux App Finder.

Some nifty things about the site:

  • site navigation – We could see a lot of helpful links that will help us navigate within the site. Categories of the applications, the actual links to the application features, etc.
  • packages available for the app
  • ratings
  • uploaded screenshots

Sometimes when you have limited bandwidth for downloading the packages or you just want to have an idea of what apps you could choose from, you could either go here (I try to review Linux apps as much as I can!), do a quick search on your preferred search engine or you could head to Linux App Finder. :D
