Glom: Easy databases

Glom is a superb database tool. It can be used to create easy to use databases very quickly. Not only do you have great control over the tables but you also get good control over the user interface. Imagine Access but usable.

Glom runs on top of PostgreSQL so you must install and configure PostgreSQL before you can use it. Fortunately a quick guide for this exists in the Glom wiki (the instructions worked perfectly for me). I wish I had tried Glom out a long time ago as it would have saved me hours of access doom and gloom.

Happy databases!
