HOWTO: Get Suspend Working on Your Laptop.
Justin of The Mighty Linux Blog has a great HOWTO up on how to get suspend working using Suspend2.
Justin wrote the HOWTO for K/Ubuntu users, but he indicates the corresponding commands for non-K/Ubuntu users.
I’ve had unrelated problems getting suspend working on my laptop, but the parts of Suspend2 that are working, work well
