Just a few days to go and it’s Software Freedom Day!

I read that 83 countries will be participating in this year’s celebration of Software Freedom Day. There will definitely demos of various open source software, distribution of copies of Linux, and talks about open source software. Even where (as some of my friends would say) the great firewall of China exists, there will be software freedom day celebrations. And true enough I saw a blog that talks about it :D Great, isn’t it?

Just check out the rest of the Software Freedom Day site so that you could look for your country and check where celebrations will take place ;) In the Philippines, it will be celebrated in the University of the Philippines Diliman in Manila and also in Davao’s University of South Eastern Philippines.

Oh and look! There’s a wallpaper on KDE-look.org in time for the SFD celebrations.

Wouldn’t this be an exciting thing or what? :D Hopefully, I won’t be too tired from this week’s work to attend the celebration in UP.
