Knoppix 6

I just downloaded an iso of Knoppix 6, which is now said to also good for netbooks and low-end machines. There’s always a chance to try out other Linux distros so I’d probably be busy trying to figure it out for myself tonight, if ever I encounter problems with it. But there’s actually a pictoguide to Knoppix already so I have a better idea about it now.
The plus side of using Knoppix includes the following:
- It uses a lightweight desktop environment, which is LXDE
- You could install it on a USB drive instead of using the hard drive itself.
- You could just use it as a live CD.
- It is said to support netbooks out of the box, like the Asus EEE and Acer Aspire One.
- You could use it to have a GPRS or UMTS connection.
The bundled applications are also said to be lightweight. There’s a million applications out there so trying to figure out which ones are lightweight and which aren’t might take too much time and effort. At least for those who want something that works, Knoppix 6 is one attractive distro.
You could download choose a download mirror of Knoppix 6 here

I have used knoppix 6 to boot my aspire one based on n280…the sound with full volumes is too low as compared to windows and and surprisingly there is no sound in headphones..!
Please help
Moreover…is there a way to connect webcam, bluetooth and to again..increase volume in knoppix 6. Knoppix 5.1 kaeffine player plays comfortably loud but…knoppix 6 player Gnome..does not!
