Linux on more ultraportables – Yay!

It’s the season to be jolly!
I am really glad to read about more and more ultraportables with Linux bundled in them. It might not be the best thing after sliced bread but I love it. I didn’t expect this when I bought my Lenovo in 2007. Now I sort of regret it because I recently just finished paying off my laptop. Just when there’s a whole lot of laptops and ultraportables. Asus, Dell, HP and Acer are releasing machines that I’d consider buying now if only I didn’t buy this laptop two years before. 
Our office has a lot of Acers these days and we get it with Linpus but we install Ubuntu on them because we’re more familiar with that than Linpus. And just now, I read news about Acer that they really are investing on Linux so that they could give their consumers value for their money.
It’s the season to buy them ultraportables with Linux. I want one too. Maybe next year. I’d wait a little bit longer and see what’s in store for us.
