Linux shirts to make you smile

Well, more like geek quotes on shirts that will make you smile. There are two recent blog entries with a listing of these shirts. One set of links is Awesome Linux T-shirts and the other is 10 Linux shirts that will make you smile.

Geek humor is very obvious in the sets of shirts that they’ve shared with us. I really like the one with the xkcd comic about sudo. “sudo make me a sandwich” is really amusing especially for those of us who use that command a lot. XD My first encounter with sudo was when someone told me that I didn’t have to have a root terminal open all the time. I could just run the command via sudo and it’s a temporary thing meant for use that won’t be too long. (And in that case, having a root terminal might be the better option, IMHO.)

The other one I like is “man woman” XD Probably because it uses the command line and gender differences. I don’t think that this particular shirt is sexist because I do know that there are differences which most men I know don’t understand and they aren’t sure how to handle them either.

And I personally have a shirt that says “No Windows, No Gates. It’s Open and Free.” in front and “I choose Free and Open Source Software” at the back. It’s one cool shirt! Even without Tux, it’s cool because of the text.
