Do you buy Linux DVDs online? Or do you ask someone to burn a copy for you?
Whether you get them free from magazines, from the Internet or somewhere else, let us know. Especially if you have other sources we don’t know of yet.
My copies are mainly burned CDs or DVDs from friends or downloaded from the Internet. For me it’s the most convenient method. There are times when I get pressed copies from acquaintances or events too. But for the most part it’s people who give me copies and the ones I download.
Some readers might have different sources. I hope you could share them here!

I usually try and download the latest and greatest. Sometimes I do wait for Linux Format magazine (in the UK) and use theirs.
Now I just download them from Ubuntu.org
Before that, when my connection was much slower, I used to get them from a local guy who was downloading and burning free software on request for a small amount of money.
Google has always been my friend while DLing Linux distros. The other day, I wanted a copy of BackTrack so I simply searched and it was presented to me.
I haven’t taken them from magazines in a long time but I remember back when 28k was fast, that was the way to go.
I have fast DSL,download ISO from Distro Watch,
burn my own cd,dvd.
I download the distros from their respective web sites and burn them on CD/DVD as required.
