Wifi is really the pain most of us encounter, from this poll. Aiya. Maybe because most of the available wifi cards in the market are more for Windows users and there are driver issues. I have been having that kind of pain myself when I borrowed wifi cards here at work. The ones we have are a pain to use because one would have to compile the kernel first or something quite hackish and I don’t have the patience to deal with such complications all the time.

I also encountered printer driver problems before but things are looking better for printers, in my experience. There are those manufacturers that have downloads for Linux. That’s totally awesome. It really seems to boil down to research when we are looking for hardware for our daily use. It’s also important to keep up with manufacturer news.
