Via the Planet Ubuntu:
nautilus-image-converter : quickly resize or rotate images within nautilus

Earlier, I wrote about the audio convert script for Nautilus. Today I give you a link to making a way to do that for your image files. Neat! No need to open up a terminal and use imagemagick or Gimp to resize and/or rotate images. It’s just there.

And there’s another tool you could use. It’s called Phatch – Photo and batch! You could view the thread about the Phatch project on Ubuntu Forums As for the download, it’s here. It has more options for photo batch processing like watermark, rounded corners, invert, resize and shadows. Looks like an interesting project so I’d give it a try later.

I so love that I found links to these tools! I always have a bunch of images from my cameraphone which I convert for uploading to Flickr so these will definitely help. Got any nifty tools that you’d like to share? Please feel free to share them via the comments section of this blog. :)
