Referencer – a tool researchers will definitely love

I wish I had this app in college. It’s called Referencer and for good reason!
Features include the following:
- Links to the actual location of the document online, via the metadata of the document
- Import bibliography from BibTex. Reference Manager and EndNote.
- Tagging to your heart’s content!
- Retrieval of metadata over the internet if the document has arXiv or DOI.
- Extensible via Python.
It’s very useful for researchers in various fields. If you’re making your thesis, you’d want to get a hold of this. I learned about it from Lifehacker today.
