I am thankful for these times that people also care about others because we don’t just talk about technology for work but how we could use technology to help ourselves amidst calamities. I met Sacha through blogging. Technically we knew each other from high school but we mainly connected when I started learning about Linux 5 years ago. I was amazed with what I saw on my feed reader: an article about a travelling Linux geek who basically went around Europe, Australia and South East Asia while sending in articles and stuff to earn a living. It’s really amazing for me to read such an experience because I can’t imagine travelling a lot because of the expenses of moving from the islands of the Philippines to another country. Even within the country it could be costly.
