Using ZimWiki to Write Your Masterpiece

Or soon to be great literary work, that is. ; ) Some of us might be aspiring to become writers of best selling novels or maybe screenplays or 1 act plays, etc. For that we need some tools that help us get our masterpiece out of our heads and somewhere online.
It so happens that in this case I will suggest a tool which could be easily available to you without proprietary licenses and agreements that might surprise you. Why? This is something that is most likely to be available in the repository of the Linux …read more

I like reading fiction and I miss writing fiction myself. There’s nothing like a good book to keep me up all night. When the story’s really gripping, I can’t help myself. That’s why I prefer having an ebook reader on my DS aside from actual books.
For the e-book worms

In any case, there’s CellWriter if you prefer writing over typing.
Train CellWriter to Recognize Your Handwriting
It’s all about you writing naturally. That is one thing that you have to remember about using CellWriter. It needs to know how you write. It …read more

Focus on writing with JDarkRoom

It’s really insane when people just nag you on IM or when your email notification icon on the panel is nagging you to check your email. One thought goes here and another there and before you know it your idea for the plot is gone! Oh no no no! Your editor nags you on your mobile and you have nothing else you could say except “Yes, I will send it to you by the end of the day.” Tsk tsk. What would make your …read more
