The recipe for a happy Linux user

I was cooking lunch when I thought about what makes a Linux user a happy one. I think I might only be speaking for desktop users who are not much into doing admin tasks on their machines.
- a good user interface
- hardware compatibility
- applications that work
- good technical support
- a solid group of users which you could talk with when you need to
Then again I suppose this is for everyone and for every OS there is. But for the people I know who stick with using Linux, those are important things.
The good user interface is something that I see Linux application developers are working on. I have been happy with most of the improvements I see from time to time. I hope that things will be this consistent.
For one, the desktop environments KDE and GNOME are improving with each release and it’s an exciting thing for me to see.
What makes you a happy Linux user?

Good wireless support. That is all.
Seriously, the hardware support and ease of updating is what would bring me to using Linux full time.
