Rumor Mill: New Nintendo DS to be Announced at E3 2008?

A rumor sprung up in Japan today pertaining to the Nintendo DS. Famitsu boss, Hirokazu Hamamura, believes that Nintendo will be announcing a new version of the Nintendo DS at this year’s E3 Media & Business Summit.
It’s been a couple of years since the Nintendo DS Lite hit the market, which means Nintendo could very well be looking at a new remodel of the popular portable console.
E3 will be taking place in Los Angeles, California from July 15–17th. I’m sure lots of exciting stuff will be coming out of there. Hopefully news of a new and improved Nintendo DS will be amongst them.

Is the plug charger (in DS side) of the DSi the same as the previous DS???
