I don’t know why I was so dead set against World Adventures. I’m pretty sure part of it was because I felt [and still think] EA scrimped with regards to base game content.

But Friday or Saturday, I finally gave in and bought both World Adventures and High-End Loft Stuff and while I wasn’t overwhelmed by the added items from High-End Loft Stuff, World Adventures make me very, very happy.

While the open ended gaming style of the whole Sims franchise is part of its charm, the set goals you find in World Adventures when you accept a mission gives the whole deal some much needed structure.

If you’ve been wondering World Adventures is worth the money, I would say definitely yes. I’m not sure yet about High-End Loft Stuff.

If I could live in any style of house, it would be a Craftsman.
I’ve tried to put my finger on why I like this style so much and all I can come up with is it feels “homey”.
I was a bit hesitant to feature this house [even though it's amazing] since it contains a lot of custom content that’s not included in the download.

The reason I’ve been featuring so many houses here recently on Sims Gamer is because I’m horrible at making houses.
I tend to make a big rectangle, make the kitchen ridiculously big and I also tend to decorate my houses exactly the same.
So, when I find a house like this beach shanty which is original and believable all at the same time, I do a little happy dance and save the URL for download at a future date.

When I first saw this lot, I thought Fallout 3.
If you’ve never played Fallout 3 or haven’t even heard of it, Fallout 3 is a game about a post apocalyptic world and it looks a heck of a lot like what Electopanda has so expertly created here.

I’ve been making a mental list of the custom content I want to include in my Sims 3 install. Since I got that nasty virus, I’ve had the pleasure and the annoyance of starting all over with my Sims 3 game and that means all the custom content has to be all reinstalled.
The Aleya Modern house is the first custom thing I’m going to download.
The lines are great. I love the colors. The curb appeal is exactly what I would want in my own real house.

Wren Cottage for Sims 3 is the perfect example of a theme done right.
It’s kind of country without being the fake early 90’s country and has a certain coziness that makes it seem almost like a real house.
What you get with this lot [20 x 20] is either a furnished [§41,757] or unfurnished [§30,807] traditional, three story house with a detached storage room/shed.

But, you didn’t know when that time would be.
Well, now you kind of do…sometime before next summer. How’s that for exact?
According to CVG, John Riccitiello [CEO of EA] accidentally let it be known “that a new Sims game would arrive on home systems (no mention of which ones) this ‘fiscal year’”.

What you have in this download are glasses from Sims 3 that have been converted for Sims 2 by much magic and much secret things.
These glasses come for both genders and for any age group so you don’t have to worry about your aged Sim being left without glasses or your adorable toddler running into walls.
