World Adventures Paris Images – Finally!

I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I will be buying World Adventures and I’ll probably be pre-ordering it. Especially since you get free shipping if you order through the EA store. That’s pretty cool, don’t you think.
Then again, I don’t remember the last Sims game I actually bought in a disc version – I generally just download it via EA’s Digital Downloader.
Anyway, the big news [for me] is the release of a couple of Paris screens. China and Egypt are cool, but I was really looking forward to seeing what the creative team was going to do with Paris. And things have been so quiet on the Paris front that I was starting to wonder if EA had nixed Paris all together.
But, today, I found these two screenshots and my interest has been renewed.
I’m not sure if EA has been pushing Egypt and China because those were the first “worlds” to be completed or if maybe they thought interest would be highest for those two but I’m relieved to finally see that they didn’t nix Paris.
Bonne journeé.

College Humor Takes on The Sims

Sometimes I think we Sims players take ourselves a bit too seriously.
Maybe it’s because we’re not “real” gamers or because we spend our time micromanaging computer generated people, but I for one know that I get my fair share of flack from people when they hear that I write for a Sims blog. My favorite is, “Oh. So you don’t write for a real gaming site?”
Nice.
My husband has this habit of surfing College Humor while he drinks his coffee in the morning. He’s supposed to be working but I won’t tell if you won’t.
Anyway, he sent me a link to …read more
Deus Ex Anna Navarre for Sims 3

Y’all know I like it when book, movie and video game characters are brought “to life” in Sims 2 and Sims 3. If you’ve really fallen in love with a character, being able to create your own storyline or expand on one that’s already been created can be a great way to reconnect with the character.
Deus Ex is one of those iconic RPGs that has a very loyal fan base and a very hot female bionic character by the name of Anna Navarre.
I can’t even begin to express just how much I think this Sim rocks.
Everything is there from the …read more
Create-a-World Tool Coming in December

One of the benchmarks of the Sims franchise has always been custom content.
While Maxis has been good about putting out Stuff Packs full of Maxis created goodies, the fan created custom content has tended to exceed what Maxis delivers both in terms of the amount of content and the subject matter – user created content is usually created to fulfill a direct need/request.
Looks like that’s about to change with the announcement of Maxis’s Create-a-World Tool.
With the Create-a-World Tool, Maxis is putting the creation of towns in your hands and will allow you to make anything that your brain can come …read more

Vampires are all the rage right now what with True Blood and Twilight but I’ve been a fan of vampires since way back. Doesn’t anyone remember Lestat? *sigh*
The point is that I have a great set of vampire gowns for you for Sims 2.
There are five of them total and you need to read the Overview page to get a link to the mesh that you need to download so that the dresses will show up in your game.
My favorite is the red gown since it’s red and super sexy and looks like something that a classy vampire woman would …read more

I know I post mostly Sims 3 downloads and news now and to you die hard Sims 2 players out there, I’m sorry.
Sims 3 is the new game [not so new now] and there is some amazing content out there and since I haven’t been playing Sims 2 because of having Sims 3, I hope you will forgive me for not posting Sims 2 content.
This dress, though deserves to get written about.
If you’re looking for a dress for your Sims 2 Sim to wear for Halloween then this is probably it.
The purple makes me smile since it’s a deep, rich …read more
Halloween Pumpkins for Sims 3

Here I was thinking that all Fresh-Prince does is make kick-ass cars and now I’ve been proven wrong!
He also makes kick-ass pumpkins.
I don’t figure it’s much of a jump. Think about Cinderella and how the pumpkin turned into a coach. I suppose you could assume that these pumpkins might turn into coaches…or, you could just assume they are pretty decorative pumpkins that will dress up any Fall Sims gathering.
These guys aren’t recolourable so don’t try and who really wants a purple pumpkin anyway? I mean, I’m sure there are some of you out there who think that would be pretty …read more

Halloween is tomorrow. Now, maybe you’re not looking to go all out with your Sims or maybe you’re wanting Halloween themed things from the ceiling to the floor and everywhere in between.
If you’re in the second group then might I direct you to these two sets of patterns.
The Jack Skellington pattern set looks great on clothing – especially tank tops for your chicks – but it would also look great in a kids room on key pieces.
The Halloween pattern set is another that would look really good on clothing but why do that when you can Halloween up your entire …read more

It’s Halloween!
Do your Sims have any awesome parties planned?
Maybe they got an invite but they don’t have anything to wear?
I have the solution for you: Halloween masks for Sims 3.
These awesome creations that unfortunately are only available for young adult and adult males but they still rock.
With this download you get six faces and one body. There is also a link to a second body if you want the Sweet Transvestite body.
These masks are a creepy way to quickly outfit your Sim for Halloween and look sweet in everyday playing if you have a cool Sci-Fi storyline going.

Halloween House!

Halloween is my all-time favorite holiday.
Plenty of candy, fun costumes and the perfect excuse to scare the crap out of little kids. What’s not to love?
Another great thing about Halloween is it gives Sims custom content creators great ideas and what they create is sometimes just plain awesome.
Take this Sims 3 Halloween House, for example.
Victorian styled with just enough “creep factor” to make you walk a bit faster as you pass the house. Sure, there are cheerful sunflowers in front, but those flowers are just there to make you complacent and fodder for the ghouls and zombies that want to …read more
