I haven't tried this one out on apartments, but on University, it works for sure. customizing apartments, enter into cheat bar: boolProp apartmentSpecificToolsDisabled false if that does not work, try: boolProp apartmentbaseSpecificToolsDisabled to build an apartment, build an apartment in resident zone and after built enter into cheat bar: changeLotZoning apartmentbase to customize a dorm: boolProp dormSpecificToolsDisabled false (to change back change 'false' to 'true' to build a dorm, build it in a resident zone and after built enter into cheat bar : changeLotZoning dorm hope that helps if you didn't know! also just found out how to make basements -who knew? just want to add a little note that you can actually build apartments and dorms and customize dorms while living in it!
