Prima Sims 2 Guide Set on Sale

I Just noticed that on Amazon they have a set of 7 strategy books for the Sims 2 are on sale right now. Normally each book is around $10 each so this is a great deal for just $16.49.
Then again, I’ve never bought a prima guide. Do you guys have them and find them useful? I’m trying to decide if I should buy the set. Let me know what you think.

I just bought this set, and I am rather disappointed. I realized they would not be the typical, full-color guides that you buy individually (pretty pictures, large book, shiny pages), but I did not realize that the print would be so small, faded, and in some cases completely unreadable. Why they chose to make gray pages and gray print I will never understand, unless they just took a big guide, removed the color, and shrunk it. Poor form, and a waste! If you want a guide, you might want to opt for the big version. Those guides have always been a huge help, and a fun thing to look at when you can’t actually play (like on the train, or waiting to take off in an airplane).
