Run This Check to See If Your Computer is Up to Snuff

I’ve been cruising around EA’s UK Sims 3 board after Jan posted the link to those questions that I got answered from Grant. It’s a great board with tons of helpful and nice people. Valleygirl posted a link for a website that checks your computer to see if it will meet minimum requirements for various games and Sims 3 is included in the list of games that you can check your computer against.
Just in case you missed it above, here’s the link for the checker.
Once you see this screen, click where it says “click here” [duh] and then run the scan. No worrying about deciphering the minimum specifications list and trying to figure out if your computer is up to snuff. Give it a try and see what happens.
Make sure that you click “Show full details…” so that you can read exactly how your computer performed. When I ran a check on Call of Duty World at War my laptop “failed”. Turns out that my graphics card is just below what the minimums require. The point being that if your computer fails, you can get an exact explanation.
