Sims 2 Ghosts Explained!

Before I decided to do the Sims 2 Legacy Challenge I didn’t know that much about Sims 2 Ghosts, but when they mentioned in the scoring section for the challenge Ghosts of different colors it got me thinking.
Honestly I tend to delete tombstones from my lots because I hate those pesky Ghosts waking up my Sims and scaring them, but you can’t do that in the challenge!
Here’s the explanation I found about how to get different colored ghosts:
Every ghost is assigned a different color based on the Sims’ manner of death. The different ways of dying are:
- Old age — white ghost
- Drowning — blue ghost
- Fire — red ghost
- Electrocution — yellow ghost
- Scared to death — pink ghost
- Running with Scissors (download by MaxoidMonkey) – light pink ghost
- Flies — purple ghost
- Satellite — orange ghost
- Starvation — natural-color ghost
- Illness — green ghost
- Cow Plant (only in University expansion pack) — light green ghost
- Melting in Sunlight (only in Nightlife expansion pack with vampires) – transparent

I hope to see a ghost that/whom is rainbow-colored.
Don’t Delete Your Tombstones, Put Them On The Ground Floor And Your Sims Bedrooms On The 1st Floor The Ghosts Can’t Go Up Stairs So Won’t Be Able To Wake Up Your Sims.
Hah. That would be funny

I just got Sims 2, and this was really helpful! Thanks for the tip. I hated how the ghosts in Sims 1 were all just one stupid color, and now I know how to kill them for the proper colors!
